In 1873 Gilbert C. Jacks, son of James K. Jacks sold to Mr. John Young Miller and his wife, Nancy Copeland 80 acres, that his father James K. Jacks had purchased.

Vicki is building a website for the Gardendale Historical Society Museum so that the contents of the museum can be catalogued in an inventory database. It will also have the ability to do the "normal" things people expect from a website - login for authorized users to add and edit pages, show contact information, add photos, produce reports, etc. To demonstrate the capabilities of a Content Management System, this site is built in Backdrop CMS, an open source website builder.
