The Gardendale Historical Society was created January 23, 2006, and hosts a public historical program on 3rd Saturdays at the Gardendale Martha Moore Public Library.

 

The Kermit E. Dooley Gardendale Historical Museum was established in 2015, and is run by society volunteers. 

The museum is next door to the Gardendale Civic Center, and their street address is:

125 JD Weeks Drive (Google may want the old street, which is 175 Bell St.)

Gardendale, AL 35071.

Museum Hours:

Thursdays from 10-2pm

Saturdays from 10-2pm, except 3rd Saturdays.

On 3rd Saturdays, a public program is held at the Gardendale Public Library from 10-11:30, and the museum will open after the program concludes.

There is no program in the months of January and December.

 

This is a temporary site for the Gardendale Historical Society, used for museum inventory management.
